About Chatterboxes
Chatterboxes is an independent speech and language therapy service offering assessments, one-to-one therapy, training and resources for education settings.
The team supports children in schools across Birmingham and the West Midlands and is expanding its nationwide offer through the Speech and Language Scheme.
The Speech and Language Scheme
Designed by an experienced paediatric speech and language therapist with more than ten years’ experience in schools, the Scheme gives staff a structured, practical and scalable system they can use confidently without needing to be speech and language therapists.
It includes:
- A year-long roadmap
- Consistent classroom strategies
- Targeted interventions designed by a speech and language therapist
- Classroom trackers and progress spreadsheets
- Ready-to-use activities that reduce intervention planning time
Three versions are available:
- Primary schools: Years 1–6
- Early Years: nurseries, Reception and pre-schools
- Resource bases
A trust licence is also available for multi-school use, supporting a centralised SEND strategy and cost-effective scaling.
