About Bedrock Learning
Bedrock Learning is a whole-school literacy platform designed to close language gaps and improve reading, writing and subject mastery from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 5.
It brings together Tier 2 academic vocabulary, grammar mastery, and Tier 3 subject-specific language into one coherent, curriculum-aligned approach.
Through adaptive placement and intelligent sequencing, Bedrock personalises learning for every pupil while ensuring consistency across classes and year groups.
Leaders gain clear, student-level insight into vocabulary growth and retention, with robust data to evidence impact for Ofsted and governors.
Schools using Bedrock report measurable improvements in reading outcomes, including an average 5-point increase in standardised reading scores within six months.
Bedrock reduces teacher workload, strengthens disciplinary literacy, and embeds a sustainable, evidence-based approach to language across the curriculum.
