- 25 August 2026: From the 2026/27 academic year, FSM eligibility expands to include all pupils from households receiving Universal Credit. However, only those meeting the existing £7,400 income threshold ('Targeted FSM') will trigger pupil premium funding and remain in the 'Ever 6 FSM' cohort.
- 14 July 2026: From the 2026/27 academic year, FSM eligibility is expanding to include all pupils in households receiving Universal Credit. However, only those meeting the 'Targeted FSM' income threshold will count towards the 'Ever 6 FSM' pupil premium funding cohort.
