Resource details

A free pack on SEND reform for school leaders. It brings together the DfE's information sheets and parent leaflets from the schools white paper, Every Child Achieving and Thriving, and the SEND reform consultation, with a one-page HeadteacherChat summary of where things stand.

The consultation closed on 18 May 2026 and the government has not yet published its response, so the leaflets describe proposals. The duties schools already have, such as the inclusion strategy for schools receiving the inclusive mainstream fund (first one due by 31 December 2026), are covered in the summary.
