SEND and Inclusion Self-Review Questions for SENCOs and Leaders (2026/27) is a self-review tool for SENCOs, inclusion leads, headteachers and governors. 2026/27 edition, rewritten for the Ofsted school inspection toolkit (v2.0) for inspections from 7 September 2026, where inclusion is now its own evaluation area.
The questions follow what the toolkit says inspectors consider, including the graduated approach, the SEN information report, the accessibility plan, the published inclusion strategy and use of the inclusive mainstream fund, the SENCO's leadership role, pupil premium, and support for pupils known to children's social care.
