Leadership posts advertised again most often

How these figures are counted

Each advert is counted once by its Teaching Vacancies URL, not by the number of people the employer may appoint. Open means the watch has not closed it and its published closing instant has not passed. These are adverts observed by this watch, not all vacancies in England.

Counts readvertised events observed from 1 September's London midnight to this read in 2026-27, for posts in the same academic year, including closed adverts. A post is the same published employer identifier, reviewed role and academic year. An event means a new advert was seen after an earlier advert closed, with none still open. It does not establish that recruitment failed, that the vacancy was continuously unfilled, or that two adverts seek the same person. Row links show the adverts carrying those events.

Groups with no included adverts or events are omitted. Ties use the stored group value in ascending binary order. No salary amounts or Ofsted outcomes enter a ranking.
